Jamaica's been drawing comics since she was little, has self-published numerous zines and has illustrations and comics printed in various magazines and anthologies. She is a recent graduate of the Animation/Illustration BFA program at San Jose State University.

During college she's produced newspaper strips, art edited a magazine, built sets for student films and music videos, interned at a film production studio, animated traditionally on paper and in Flash, pursued painting and illustration and appeared in the The Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship Competition.

Currently living in the Bay Area and doing freelance animation and illustration.
